Registered Nurse - Night Duty

About the role

As a Night Duty Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with care staff and/or allied health professionals to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practice standards.

• Undertake clinical assessments and monitor resident health and wellbeing.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

• Respond to clinical incidents and emergencies as required.

• Supervise and support care staff during night shifts.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.

• Liaise with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.

About you

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Previous experience in aged care, acute care, or community nursing.

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sound knowledge of aged care standards and clinical governance.

• Ability to work independently and lead a team during night shifts.

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
