We have multiple opportunities available for Process Workers across our Morning & Afternoon shifts at our Karawatha facility.

Available shift times include:

• Afternoon: Must be available between 12:00pm – 1:00am

• Morning: Must be available between 5:00am - 3:00pm

These shifts operate across all days of the week. To be considered, you must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with shifts generally being 8 hours or longer.

We offer a rotating schedule for your work days, rather than a fixed weekly roster. However, your shift times are fixed, eg if you are hired for morning shifts, your roster will remain on morning shifts.

• Accurately process and prepare raw materials as per production recipes, following correct procedures and using a range of equipment such as injectors, dicers, tumblers, kettles and scales. 

• Conduct and document in-process quality checks (e.g., weight, appearance, temperature, labelling) at prescribed intervals, ensuring all records are completed accurately using Youfoodz-approved forms and digital systems. 

• Where required, verify that cooked products meet defined standards relating to food safety, product quality, presentation, and texture.

• Adhere to all Company Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety policies, including compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and cleaning protocols. 

• Maintain an organised, efficient, and clean workspace that supports safe food handling and prevents cross-contamination. 

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure workflow continuity, efficient changeovers, and accurate fulfilment of production targets.

• Take responsibility for identifying and escalating any issues that may impact product quality, safety, or efficiency.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• The ability to learn and follow Food Safety, HACCP, and WHS procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.

• The physical capability to lift and move objects up to 20kg where required.

• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.

• The ability to follow instructions efficiently and work independently when required.

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• High levels of reliability, resilience, professionalism, and work ethic.
