At McLachlan Homes, we're looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about building quality homes and want to be part of a supportive, family-owned team.
Whether you're looking to commence your apprenticeship or you're a current Carpentry Apprentice, we'd love to hear from you.
Work on award-winning homes across North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast while learning from an experienced in-house carpentry team that genuinely enjoys what they do.
Who We Are
McLachlan Homes is a long-established, family-owned, award-winning residential builder renowned for quality craftsmanship, innovation, and exceptional team culture.
Our in-house carpentry team builds stunning custom homes ranging from 250m² to over 1,000m², giving apprentices exposure to every stage of residential construction.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking people who are:
Looking to start a Carpentry Apprenticeship, or
Currently completing a Carpentry Apprenticeship
You'll also need:
* Full Australian work rights
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* A willingness to learn and be part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
* Own transport
* Based on Brisbane's Northside (preferred)
* Basic hand tools (for existing apprentices)
Experience with stick framing is an advantage but not essential.
