Senior Retail Sales Team Member

Intersport Forster is a locally owned and operated independent sports store, proudly part of the Intersport family — one of the world’s leading sporting retail groups. We combine the personal, friendly feel of a local business with access to some of the biggest and best brands in sport.

Intersport Forster is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Sales & Merchandising team member to join our friendly team.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys retail, takes pride in creating a great-looking store and, most importantly, loves helping customers find exactly what they need.

About the Role

You’ll be involved in all areas of our busy sports store, including:

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service

• Selling across footwear, apparel and sporting equipment

• Merchandising and creating great-looking displays

• Helping with the ongoing development and presentation of the store

• Working with leading sporting and lifestyle brands

• Being part of a supportive and experienced team, while having the ability to work alone

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous retail experience — sports retail experience would be fantastic

• Have great people and communication skills

• Are confident, motivated and happy to use your initiative

• Have a good eye for merchandising and presentation

• Enjoy working as part of a team

• Have an interest in sport, fitness or an active lifestyle

• Are willing to continually improve your product knowledge

What We Offer

• Full-time hours preferred, however part-time will definitely be considered for the right person

• Must be available weekdays and occasional weekends

• Attractive hourly rate based on experience
