Therapeutic Care Worker

We are looking for Therapeutic Care Workers to join our team at Maple Youth Services and work alongside young people living in out of home care.

Responsibilities

• ⁠Implementing tailored care plans and fostering daily routines

• ⁠Supporting life skills development and meaningful community engagement

• ⁠Providing trauma-transformative care, culturally responsive care

• ⁠Facilitating family contact and strengthening relationships

• Writing detailed progress notes and reports

• Promote safety, well-being and ongoing development

Qualifications

• A completed qualification (diploma or higher) in Youth Work or a related field

• Experience in youth or disability support work

• ⁠Understanding of child protection legislation and trauma-informed care

Requirements

• National Criminal Record Check

• Working With Children’s Check

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• First Aid & CPR certification

• Driver’s license

• Insured vehicle.
