HC Sideloader & Container Drivers – Local Brisbane

Lytton | Day and Afternoon Shifts | $34–$36 per Hour + Overtime

Rogers Transport is expanding its container transport operation and is seeking experienced HC Sideloader and Container Drivers to join our team at Lytton.

These are permanent, full-time local positions offering weekly pay, optional overtime and consistent work servicing the Port of Brisbane and greater Brisbane area.

• Sideloader Driver: $36 per hour

• HC Trailer Driver: $34 per hour

• Overtime and applicable shift penalties

• Superannuation paid in addition

• HC Container Trailer Driver – Afternoon Shift - Must have MSIC

You will complete local container deliveries and collections throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas while maintaining high standards of safety, presentation and customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HC sideloader or container trailer combinations

• Completing container deliveries and collections safely and efficiently

• Conducting daily vehicle pre-start inspections

• Checking container pins, equipment and load security

• Following customer, port and site safety requirements

• Completing all required transport documentation and electronic records

• Planning practical and time-efficient routes

• Maintaining professional communication with customers and operations

• Keeping your vehicle and equipment clean and presentable

• Current unrestricted HC Driver Licence

• Experience operating a sideloader or container trailer

• Strong safety awareness and a good driving history

• Knowledge of Brisbane, the Port of Brisbane and surrounding areas

• Ability to work independently and follow operational instructions

• Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude

• Willingness to complete pre-start checks and required paperwork

A current MSIC card is highly regarded.

A Dangerous Goods licence and port or wharf cartage experience will also be viewed favourably.
