Superintendent - Human Resources

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking a Superintendent – Human Resources to join our site-based HR team in this permanent, full-time role. This position operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, offering a great work-life balance.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Deliver day-to-day HR advice, policy interpretation, EBA guidance, and union rights of entry support to site management.
• Lead investigations regarding potential terminations, disciplinary actions, or psychosocial reportable incidents.
• Provide performance management coaching to line managers and mentor Senior HR Advisors in partnership with the Principal Leadership Advisor.
• Assist with HR strategy execution, participate in departmental people meetings, and deliver HR metric data analysis to management.
• Standardise and upgrade HR systems and tools to increase operational efficiency.
• Share HR administrative tasks to free up Senior Advisors for project work and deputise for the Employee Relations Manager in HSE and Crisis/Cyclone Management meetings.

Successful applicant will have:

You are a qualified HR Generalist who balances technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. You are comfortable navigating complex site environments and want a role where you can collaborate with a team while retaining ownership over your projects.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of employment legislation and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex HR matters clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of data interpretation and organization.
• SAP experience (desirable).
