MECHANICAL HYDRAULIC FITTER

About the role

As a Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter at HYDCO PTY LTD, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and components. This is a full-time role based in Wangara, Western Australia, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's equipment and machinery.

What you'll be doing

• Assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic systems and components

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

• Collaborate with the wider team to optimise the performance and efficiency of the company's operations

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification is specifically required

• Extensive experience as a Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter, preferably in the Trades & Services industry

• A minimum of 3 years of mechanical fitting experience is required for this position

• Experience as a Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter in the manufacturing industry is preferred

• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

• Australian citizenship is required for this role
