About the Position
As the Lecturer in Carpentry & Construction, you are responsible for the delivery of training in carpentry & construction, with a main focus on training, customer service and student administration to our current students/apprentices. The position requires the timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks associated with training provision including the maintenance of accurate student records. Ensuring compliance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Construction Training Package, The Lecturer plays an important role in achieving team and VET objectives through supporting the Team Leader and the Senior Leadership to achieve set goals.
The role works closely with all staff in the VET Engineering and Construction Team and requires ongoing liaison with staff across the TAFE and CDU to build operational and strategic partnerships. The role contributes to growing the teaching business and to anticipate and respond to industry training requirements.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at VET Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $76,604 - $114,924 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,626 - $134,461 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
