Releaf Dispensary Bentleigh is looking for a motivated, caring and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge in the rapidly evolving medicinal cannabis industry while working alongside experienced pharmacists, prescribers and healthcare professionals.

At Releaf, patient care is at the heart of what we do. We aim to provide every patient with a professional, supportive and welcoming experience while ensuring their medications are supplied accurately and efficiently.

No two days are exactly the same. You’ll work closely with our pharmacists and wider team to support the day-to-day operation of the dispensary and help provide a seamless experience for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, professional and compassionate patient service

• Assisting patients with enquiries regarding prescriptions and orders

• Supporting pharmacists with dispensing and administrative tasks

• Liaising with prescribers and clinic staff to help coordinate patient care

• Processing and preparing patient orders accurately and efficiently

• Managing stock, inventory and incoming orders

• Assisting with stock control and maintaining an organised dispensary

• Answering phone and online enquiries

• Supporting the wider team to ensure the dispensary runs smoothly

We’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous pharmacy or dispensary experience – highly regarded but not essential

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Confidence using computers and learning new systems

• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

• A proactive, can-do approach and willingness to learn

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Knowledge or experience in medicinal cannabis is highly regarded, but not essential

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position based at our Bentleigh dispensary, offering a great opportunity for either an experienced Pharmacy Assistant or someone earlier in their pharmacy career who is eager to learn.
