Role DescriptionThe Co-Founder will play a key role in shaping Likened’s strategy, product direction, and market positioning while working full time on-site in Sydney, NSW. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining the company vision, validating customer needs, leading go-to-market initiatives, and building partnerships with organizations and professionals affected by AI-driven change. The role involves collaborating on product design, overseeing research and experimentation, and driving sales and marketing efforts to grow the user base. The Co-Founder will also help build and lead a small team, manage operations, and engage with investors and advisors to secure resources for scaling. This position requires a hands-on approach, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong commitment to the mission of helping workers thrive in the age of AI.
QualificationsStrong analytical skills to interpret market trends, user data, and AI workforce impacts, and to inform product and business decisions.Exceptional communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and public speaking.Proven experience in sales, with the ability to build pipelines, close deals, and develop partnerships with organizations and individuals.Marketing expertise, including brand positioning, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategy for early-stage products or services.Research skills to explore evolving AI trends, user needs, and competitive landscapes, and to test hypotheses through customer discovery.Prior startup, entrepreneurial, or founder experience, ideally in edtech, AI, career development, or professional services.Familiarity with AI concepts and tools, and enthusiasm for helping others adopt and benefit from AI in their work.Ability to work collaboratively, make decisions under uncertainty, and take ownership of both strategic and operational responsibilities.
