The business is looking for a commercial CFO, working closely with the Managing Director and owners, you will have genuine influence over the direction of the company and the opportunity to help shape its future.
This could be particularly attractive to someone who has developed their career within a larger corporate environment and is now looking for the autonomy, visibility and impact that comes with joining a privately owned business.
PositionThis is a broad and influential executive role, combining strategy, commercial leadership and hands-on execution.
You will partner closely with the Managing Director and owners to improve business performance, strengthen financial discipline and build the systems, processes and capability required to support continued growth.
Key areas of focus will include:Providing commercial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.Improving financial performance, reporting, forecasting and business visibility.Strengthening governance, controls, systems and financial processes.Building a more sophisticated and scalable finance function.Supporting business strategy, investment decisions and future growth initiatives.Providing leadership across finance while partnering closely with operational and commercial teams.Challenging constructively and ensuring finance is genuinely connected to business performance.
ProfileYou are a CA or CPA qualified commercial finance leader with the technical strength, business acumen and maturity to operate at executive level.
Ideally, you will have built your foundations within a larger corporate or sophisticated finance environment before moving into a privately owned or family business, where you've worked closely with owners and senior leaders to drive growth and improve performance.
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, wholesale, supply chain or another B2B environment will be highly regarded.
