Electrician – High-End Residential, Home Automation & AV

About the role

Kayder is looking for an experienced electrician to join our team, working across high-end residential electrical, smart home automation and audio-visual projects throughout Sydney. This is a great opportunity for an electrician who enjoys quality workmanship, problem-solving and technology.

Key responsibilities

• General electrical installation and fit-off

• High-end residential electrical work

• Lighting and lighting-control installations

• Structured cabling, data and network infrastructure

• Installation of home automation and AV equipment

• Reading plans, schematics and project documentation

• Fault-finding, testing and commissioning

• Coordinating with project managers, technicians and other trades

• Completing work to a high standard while maintaining a clean and professional site

• Accurately recording completed work, materials and site information

About you

• Qualified electrician with a current NSW electrical licence

• Solid residential or commercial electrical experience

• Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality work

• Interested in home automation, smart technology and AV systems

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Communicates professionally with clients, builders and colleagues

• Reliable, organised and accountable

• Current Australian driver licence

• Full Australian working rights
