Receptionist/Shoe Sales Assistant

About the role

This is a part-time Receptionist/Shoe Sales Assistant position at the Active Foot Clinic in Leeton, NSW. As the first point of contact for the clinic, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service/relations, helping manage clinic operations, and assisting customers with finding the right shoe fit and style for their needs.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients/customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Answering and managing incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the clinic's calendar

• Managing and organising shoe stock, assisting customers with shoe fitting and sales

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception/retail area

• Supporting the clinic's podiatrist by putting through patient payments and scheduling appointment bookings

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a reception/administration or retail role, preferably in the healthcare or footwear industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers of all ages

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, plus ideally practice management and/or retail software

• A friendly, professional and empathetic attitude, with a genuine interest in helping people
