Want to make a difference? You will!As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible coordinating assessment and residential plans for assigned children and young people, supervising Residential Care Workers in all matters impacting on the therapeutic care of children and young people, providing a high standard of therapeutic care consistent with the program objectives, and completing administrative duties including recording, computer data entry and preparation of reports.

You will be required to work a rotating roster of morning, afternoon and awake night shifts from Monday to Sunday to support the children in care in a 24/7 service.

Your work is guided by the Sanctuary Model to ensure the consistent delivery of trauma informed care to young people in Therapeutic Residential Care, which includes the Seven Commitments for creating safe environments. (see attached)

• Q3 Describe a situation and provide an example where you supervised staff while working as part of a team. How did you provide direction and guidance, allocate tasks, support and motivate team members, monitor performance and practice?  How did you ensure the team delivered successful outcomes? What was the result? (Criteria 1)
