About The Project

Sydney Metro West is a transformational 24 km underground railway connecting Sydney CBD to Parramatta, with stations at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street.

The Linewide package connects the entire system, delivering the critical rail infrastructure and technology that bring the metro network to life.

Project offices are located across several Sydney locations including the CBD, Clyde, Rosehill, The Bays and Burwood North.

About The Role

John Holland is looking for a Logistics Manager to join the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project. This role will see you manage and oversee warehouse stock, manage and arrange the transportation to and from site and manage the financial and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

3-5 years’ experience in similar position.Ability to read and understand financial reporting.Proven experience in reducing and measuring cost savings.Able to effectively update and initiate process and procedures.Experience in managing asset and inventory management systems.Proven experience in developing or revising strategic direction for the project.Advanced knowledge of risk management and reporting.Knowledge and experience in auditing compliance.

About You

Proven experience in a logistics or site coordination role on major infrastructure or construction projectsStrong understanding of site operations, plant movements, and material coordinationExperience working in complex, multi-contractor environmentsAbility to read and interpret site plans, staging, and logistics plansStrong focus on safety, compliance, and risk managementExcellent coordination and communication skillsCurrent driver’s licence (essential)Flexibility to work across multiple sites and shifts as required
