About the role

As our Melbourne operations continue to grow, we are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Dental Field Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Opportunity
This position is suited to an established dental equipment technician with proven experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing a comprehensive range of dental equipment.
You will work across dental practices throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, providing high-quality technical support while building strong, trusted relationships with our customers.
You will be confident working autonomously, taking ownership of your workload and completing all work safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and manufacturers’ specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, repair and maintain a broad range of dental equipment.
Work across dental treatment centres, autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, suction systems, compressors, X-ray equipment and associated devices.
Complete preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
Install and commission new dental equipment.
Complete service reports, compliance documentation and other required records accurately and promptly.
Manage parts, tools and vehicle stock effectively.
Provide professional advice and exceptional service to customers.
Work independently while collaborating with our wider technical and support teams.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Proven experience as a qualified Dental Field Service Technician.
Demonstrated experience working across a comprehensive range of dental equipment.
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Sound electrical, electronic and mechanical knowledge.
Experience servicing autoclaves and washer-disinfectors.
Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills.
A professional, customer-focused approach.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities.
A current Australian driver’s licence.
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
