Beefy’s are seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager for our Aussie World store, located in Palmview on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, within 10 mins drive from Caloundra, Buderim or Sippy Downs.

Beefy’s is a well-established, Multi Award winning group of boutique Pie Bakery Cafes, with 16 stores across South East Queensland & NSW.

Currently seeking an experienced Manager, with great organisational and team building skills and a demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience within the food service/retail industry.
• Display warmth and enthusiasm, with a friendly positive outlook and a can do attitude.
• Be flexible, adaptable reliable and very much hands-on.
• This position is based on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday (working every 2nd weekend). You will be required to work a range of shifts including opening and closing shifts, so you must be able to work varying shifts between the hours of 4.30am and 6pm.

Due to the early morning start times your own transport is essential.

The Store Manager’s duties will include:

• Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the Number One priority
• Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
• Training, supervising, mentoring and coaching team members to foster their ongoing growth and development
• Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
• Implementing operational policies and effectively managing back office administration
• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Food Safety
• Planning and managing rosters
• Promoting a positive work environment that motivates team members to grow, be challenged and have fun!

Essential Skills / Attributes:

• Proven ability in leading, developing and mentoring a team ideally in a Food service, Cafe or Bakery environment.
• Customer service focused, with the ability to engage new customers and maintain returning customer relationships.
• Ability to achieve store Key Performance Indicators.
• Highly organised with effective time management and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, reliable and honest.
• Ability to build solid professional relationships within the store team and greater network, as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 kgs.
