The Opportunity

Are you a skilled Haul Truck, Multi Skilled or Digger Operator with a passion for the mining industry? Thiess are currently seeking applications from experienced and motivated Mining Operators to join our high-performing team at Lake Vermont.

As a key member of the Lake Vermont production team, you'll be responsible for operating a wide variety of mobile heavy earthmoving plant within a coal production environment. This could be operating mechanical or electric haul trucks (CAT 785, 789, 793 or 797), Komatsu 830/930Es, Liebherr 282s, CAT D11 Dozers, CAT 18 or 24M Graders, or even operating a Liebherr 9800 Digger!!

Roster: 7/7| Location: Lake Vermont, QLD | Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

As a Mining Operator, you will:

• Be expected to operate heavy mobile earthmoving plant in an efficient, effective and productive manner onsite.
• Ensure that everyone's safety always comes first - this is our highest priority! 

About you:

• Current Standard 11 (Surface) (Within 5 years)
• Previous experience operating heavy mobile earthmoving machinery with a coal production environment. 
• Current Signed SSEs/Training Transcript for mobile plant (under 5 yrs old) for Trucks, Dozers, Graders and/or Diggers (up to 900T)
