We are seeking aMinisterial Support Officer to join our team in a newly created surge position designed to strengthen and uplift the quality, consistency and effectiveness of services provided to the Minister.

Working closely with theAssistant Director, Ministerial Support, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination, quality assurance and continuous improvement of ministerial products, including briefs, correspondence and submissions. Your work will help ensure ministerial business is delivered to a high standard, on time, and aligned with government expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile area at the centre of the Directorate's engagement with the Minister. As part of a focused uplift initiative, you'll have the opportunity to help drive improvements, build capability across the organisation and make a tangible impact on the quality of ministerial services.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Highly Desirable

• Demonstrated understanding of ministerial business processes and the operations of a Minister's Office, including the preparation, coordination and management of ministerial briefs, correspondence and submissions.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months with possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
