ABOUT THE ROLE
The King’s School is currently seeking to engage a highly skilled and dedicated Music Peripatetic to join our music team at the North Parramatta campus. We are looking for a specialist on violin, who has experience working with Preparatory School Co-curricular Ensemble (from early years to more advanced) and private tuition programs. 

Music at The King's School is considered very important to our students’ overall development and our music programs cater for all levels of performance.
• Successful applicant must be available for tutoring sessions and rehearsals during the week
• Occasional weekend and evening work may be required
• Session times will be negotiated with successful applicant, but please note that lessons take place mostly during school hours.

To be successful for this role, you will need to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
• Bachelor degree in music performance is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in your area of discipline.
• Experience working with beginner string groups and students in an educational or performance setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
