Depot & Fleet Attendant

Grace Coaches is a family-owned and operated bus company with a fleet of 15 vehicles, including minibuses, school buses and coaches.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Person to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of our fleet and depot. This is a permanent full-time role offering a competitive salary and flexible working hours.

 About the role

This position is hands-on and suits someone who enjoys working independently, taking initiative and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

 Key duties

• Washing, cleaning and detailing buses and coaches

• General yard and depot maintenance

• Refuelling vehicles as required

• Moving vehicles within the depot and yard

• Supporting drivers and operations staff as needed

• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues

• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised depot

 Must haves

• Good verbal and written skills

• Car driver’s licence

• MR licence advantageous

• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong self-management and organisational skills

• Ability to identify tasks that need to be done and take initiative
