About the role
IntelligenceBank is the leading marketing operations management platform for brands in regulated industries. Over 800,000 users across 55 countries rely on our AI-powered platform to get to market faster, stay on brand and stay compliant. We're headquartered in Melbourne, with operations across the US, Canada and the UK.
We're driving departmental efficiency and business growth, and we're looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Finance & Operations team in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role with the team on-site at least 3 days a week.
Why this role
This isn't a back office numbers role. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the COO, you'll be the go-to lead for financial analysis across the business, and your insights will directly shape performance throughout the entire lead-to-cash lifecycle. Communication is key.
You'll get real exposure to the business leadership team and engage on enterprise SaaS metrics, commercial operations, and special projects including M&A and due diligence, all while helping us build smarter, more automated ways of working.
What you'll be doing
Business partnering, reporting and analysis: Prepare and lead financial reporting for board and management packs. Measure business units against North Star SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV) and assess KPIs quarterly. Oversee renewal revenue, invoicing accuracy and forecasting support for the sales team. Build BI tools for proactive, exception-based reporting.
Commercial operations and efficiency: Drive process improvements, particularly around the revenue function in Salesforce. Review vendor and customer contracts, including non-standard terms. Provide reporting and guidance to Sales and Customer Success. Analyse sales efficiency, pipeline conversion and lead ROI. Identify opportunities to use AI to automate manual workflows.
Finance and compliance: Run monthly sales commissions and manage payroll across Australia and the US using Xero and Deel. Manage end-of-month, quarter and annual reconciliations, BAS, journal entries and the fixed asset register. Support audits and enforce financial controls. Review contract hours across CS and Implementation to keep renewals on track.
What you'll bring
CA or CPA (or equivalent) qualification
Proficiency in Salesforce and Xero
Strong background in financial modelling and BI tool development
Demonstrated experience managing payroll
The ability to translate complex data into clear insights for senior stakeholders
Demonstrated examples of using AI to automate workflows and improve efficiencies
Experience in enterprise SaaS, with the confidence to challenge existing practices to improve performance
A resourceful, outcome-oriented approach, comfortable with the maturation journey of a growing business
What's in it for you
Genuine career development. Over 40% of our staff are in a different role today than the one they started in
Extra leave that actually gets used: birthday leave, December 24th off and half-day summer Fridays
How we'll measure success
Accurate, timely reporting that gives leadership confidence in the numbers
Measurable improvements in departmental and revenue-function efficiency
Renewals and invoicing that consistently align with contract terms
A track record of identifying and acting on risks and opportunities before others flag them
What happens next
Apply, and one of our team will review your application and follow up by phone or email. From there, our process includes a phone screening, interviews covering both behavioural and practical assessments, and reference and criminal history checks.
We're committed to responding to every applicant at every stage, so you'll never be left wondering where you stand.
