About the role
Summary:
Join our team in a dynamic and rewarding role supporting individuals, families and communities affected by domestic, family and sexual violence. The DFV Practitioner and Educator provides trauma-informed, risk-responsive casework, including intake, assessment, safety planning, case coordination and ongoing support to promote safety, stabilisation and recovery. The role also plays an important part in strengthening community understanding and responses to domestic, family and sexual violence through the delivery of education, engagement and awareness initiatives. Working collaboratively with community members, stakeholders and partner organisations, you will contribute to building safer, more informed and connected communities across the region.
Enjoy the variety of working across two locations, with three days based in Mossman and two days in Cairns. A company vehicle is provided for travel, with travel time forming part of your working day.
