Microbiology QC Analyst x3

This is an exciting opportunity for a microbiology professional looking to build a career within a highly regulated pharmaceutical and biotechnology environment.

This position is based in Broadmeadows and operates on a shift roster.

Shift: The site operates 7 days so there will be a day shift and an afternoon shift which includes weekend work

Employment Type: 2 Permanent, full-time opportunity and one fixed term contract until the end of April 2027.

As a Microbiology QC Analyst, you will perform routine microbiological testing and laboratory activities that support product quality, manufacturing operations, and regulatory compliance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Performing microbiological testing in accordance with GMP requirements and approved procedures.Preparing microbiological media, buffers, reagents and standards.Conducting environmental monitoring and other routine microbiological assays.Recording and reviewing laboratory data within electronic systems including LIMS.Investigating laboratory events, deviations and out-of-specification results.Supporting equipment maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting activities.Maintaining laboratory compliance, cleanliness and documentation standards.Assisting with continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Degree qualification in Microbiology or a related life sciences discipline.Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, healthcare or other regulated laboratory environment.Understanding of GMP, GLP and laboratory quality systems.Experience with microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) will be highly regarded.
