Dental assitant

About the role

The position will involve a combination of dental assisting and reception duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills and takes pride in providing a high level of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during clinical procedures

• Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms

• Sterilisation and infection-control procedures

• Greeting and assisting patients

• Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries

• Appointment bookings and confirmations

• Processing payments and general reception duties

• Maintaining accurate patient records

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

• Experience with D4W prefer

• Reliable, punctual and organised

• Confident communicating with patients and team members

• Compassionate and patient-focused

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a busy dental environment

• Previous dental assisting or dental reception experience is highly regarded

• Relevant dental qualifications/certificates are desirable but not essential for the right candidate
