About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our growing team. You will work closely with qualified tradespeople, assisting with daily operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects run smoothly. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to work hard and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist tradespeople with lifting, positioning, and securing materials
Clean, prepare, and organize tools and equipment
Set up and clear work areas to ensure a safe environment
Handle loading, unloading, and moving materials
Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
About you
Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) required for construction sites
Valid manual driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual
Commitment to workplace health and safety rules
Previous experience on a job site or workshop highly regarded but not essential
