About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Registered Nurses, your focus will be to ensure the provision of high-quality care to our residents to meet their daily care needs by demonstrating professional and collaborative practice and providing supervision and direction to, ENs & PCAs whilst ensuring they are empowered to do as much as they can for themselves.

About You

Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experienceExperience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care PlansUnderstanding and working knowledge of Commonwealth, State and / or Territory legislation and nursing practices. An understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC requirements, Occupational Health and Safety, food safety and other professional legislative requirementsFirst Aid and CPR CertificateAbility to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client serviceStrong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivatedProficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS OfficeAbility to work a variety of days and shifts as a casual
