About the role
For local women and families, having maternity care close to home means more than convenience - it means familiar faces, trusted care and the reassurance of knowing their community is there for one of life’s biggest moments. As a Registered Midwife with Biloela Maternity Service, you’ll be part of making that possible.
You’ll care for women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond, while helping shape a new service built around continuity, cultural safety and genuine connection. This is more than stepping into an established role – this is an opportunity to help shape how maternity care is experienced by Biloela families for years to come.

Biloela Maternity Service brings personalised, woman-centred maternity care to families across the Banana Shire. With a dedicated birth suite, postnatal ward, antenatal clinic and Midwifery Group Practice, the service supports women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond.
Midwives and Medical Officers work closely together, alongside multidisciplinary teams across Central Queensland Health, to provide safe, culturally responsive and evidence-based care. As part of Biloela Hospital, the service also benefits from strong rural healthcare connections, helping local families access quality maternity and specialist care closer to home.
