Cafe Staff Member

Haymond Personnel is looking for a friendly and reliable Cafe Staff Member to join one of our valued clients on a temporary basis, covering a team member who will be on leave for approximately 8 weeks.

This isn’t your typical cafe setting. You’ll be working in a modern cafe located within a trendy manufacturing warehouse, servicing employees and visitors in a friendly, relaxed environment.

The role is expected to commence within the next 1–2 weeks, so we’re looking for someone who is available to start at short notice and can ideally commit to the full assignment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Food preparation, handling and serving
• Processing payments and confidently handling cash
• Keeping the café clean, tidy and well presented
• Assisting with general cafe duties throughout the day
• Preparing coffees and other beverages if experienced

What We’re Looking For

• Previous food handling, café or hospitality experience
• Great customer service skills and a naturally friendly approach
• Confidence with cash and money handling
• Reliable, punctual and happy to get stuck in where needed
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with a range of people
• Coffee making/barista experience is a definite bonus
• Availability to start within the next 1–2 weeks

Hours
This is a Monday to Frida role, with start times generally between 8:00am and 8:30am. Finish times vary depending on the day, generally between 12:30pm and 2:00pm.
