Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter (Crusher Fitter) to join our team based in Maddington.

About the Role

As an Mechanical Fitter (Crusher Fitter), you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of crushing and screening equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventative maintenance on crushing plants and heavy mobile equipment

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical breakdowns

• Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records

• Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete complex repairs

• Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling crushing equipment components

• Assembling and commissioning new crushing and screening equipment

• Reading and interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Demonstrating a flexible, proactive, and safety-focused approach

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Full Australian working rights

• Experience working with crushing equipment, including Cedarapids, Metso, McCloskey, Terex, or Nordberg

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting (Heavy) or equivalent

• High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Rigging, Dogging and/or Crane)

• Minimum two years' experience in a crushing environment

• Previous experience with Metso, Finlay, Powerscreen, Cedarapids, or similar crushing and screening equipment (desirable)
