The Role

Our rail grinding crews are small, collaborative teams responsible for safely operating, maintaining and repairing our specialised equipment.

Tasks are rotated across the crew, providing variety and the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the entire machine. You will be involved in:

• Operating specialised rail grinding equipment

• Electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs

• Fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting

• General preventative and corrective maintenance

• Supporting machine reliability and operational performance

• Identifying opportunities for improvement

• Working together to meet safety, quality and customer expectations

This role suits electricians who enjoy understanding how equipment operates, solving technical problems and seeing the direct results of their work.

About You

You will bring a strong commitment to health and safety, along with:

• Electrical trade qualification (Mandatory)

• Current Western Australian electrical licence (Mandatory)

• Preventative maintenance knowledge (Desirable)

• Heavy vehicle or mobile equipment testing and fault-finding experience (Desirable)

• Mining, rail or heavy-industry experience (Desirable)

• Current manual open driver’s licence (Mandatory)

• Truck licence (Desirable)
