Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brendale, QLD. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering fitout projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and on budget. Day-to-day tasks include developing project schedules, managing resources and subcontractors, overseeing site activities, and coordinating logistics to ensure materials and services are delivered when required. The Project Manager will conduct regular inspections, monitor quality and safety standards, manage client communication, and provide updates on project progress and risks. This role also involves resolving issues on site, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with design, construction, and maintenance teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing construction or fitout projects.Experience as an Expeditor, with strong Expediting capabilities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Knowledge of Inspection processes, with the ability to monitor quality, compliance, and safety on site.Logistics Management skills to coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and site requirements efficiently.Proven experience in commercial fitouts or construction, preferably in hospitality, retail, office, education, or health sectors.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and project teams.Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.Proficiency with project management and construction-related software tools; sound MS Office skills.Relevant qualifications in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related discipline are highly regarded.Commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
