Duty Manager

About the role

We're looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our FOH team as a Duty Manager, with opportunities across a multi-site venue. Whether you're pouring the perfect beer, running a busy service, leading a team or creating memorable guest experiences, we're looking for people who take genuine pride in hospitality and want to be part of a great local venue.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hospitality management role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Experience opening and closing a venue

• Experience with POS systems and microsoft excel 

• Strong knowledge of service standards and hospitality operations

• Experience with stock control and inventory management

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• A mature, professional and hands-on approach

• Current RSA certificate – essential

• RMLV – desirable

• Knowledge or passion for craft beer would be an advantage

This is a full-time salaried position with a 5-day roster. Our venue operates without early morning starts or excessively late nights, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a sustainable hospitality career.

Depending on your role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering friendly, attentive and professional service

• Taking orders and serving food and beverages

• Pouring and presenting our range of craft beers

• Creating memorable guest experiences

• Supporting smooth and efficient service

• Working closely with the kitchen and management team
