Expression of Interest - Disability Support Worker - Victoria

About the role

As a Disability Support Worker at CareChoice, you will provide person-centered care, promoting idependence, dignity and quality of life to our clients across Victoria.
This role is ideal for compassionate and reliable Support Workers, with at least 1 year experience working within the disability or related industry.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) or similar.
• 1+ years of experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Demonstrated experience providing personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, toileting and mobility, including manual handling and community access.
• Ability to complete and maintain required documentation, including progress notes, incident reports and other records.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR Training Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• A Victorian Driver Licence and Comprehensive Insurance is preferred, but not essential (please note if you do not have insurance, you will be unable to support clients with transportation or community access).
