For over 60 years, Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) has been a leading registered charity dedicated to protecting, caring for and advocating for the welfare of companion animals across the state. We provide expert care for surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals and work closely with communities to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent cruelty.

The Opportunity

Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL) requires a highly organised co-ordinator to support the continued momentum of the marketing and fundraising program.

This role is about execution, organisation and follow through. It takes approved marketing and fundraising plans and turns them into campaigns, newsletters, content, reports and other marketing activity.

This is not a strategy role. Strategy will be set by the Head of Marketing & Fundraising and senior leadership. This role supports delivery by making sure the work is planned properly, briefed clearly, organised well and completed on time.

The ideal candidate will be practical, reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure work is delivered accurately and consistently.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Manage the annual marketing and content calendar.
• Coordinate delivery of marketing and fundraising campaigns across digital, email, web, print and social.
• Help coordinate content production, including photography, video, interviews and asset collection.
• Help manage the delivery of the quarterly ‘Love Tales’ newsletter.
• Coordinate content capture for the annual report, calendar, appeals and major organisational activities.
• Help prepare campaign briefs, timelines, production schedules and approval processes.
• Keep content, photos, videos, campaign files and marketing assets well organised.
• Keep marketing projects moving and follow up actions as required.
• Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, printers, agencies and other suppliers.
• Liaise with internal teams to gather information, content and approvals.
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, templates and campaign records.
• Help ensure marketing work is delivered on time, to brief and to standard.
• Support the day-to-day workflow of the marketing and fundraising team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, dependable and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.You will bring:

Essential

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in a marketing and communications coordination role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong administrative capability in project coordination
• Good written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and moving parts.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reporting.
• Confidence working with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Practical understanding of campaign delivery across digital, email, web, print and social.

Desirable

• Some experience coordinating photo shoots, video production or campaign content.
• Some experience with newsletters, annual reports or supporter communication

This role will suit someone who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes, coordinating moving parts and ensuring quality work is delivered efficiently and consistently.
