Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our dedicated team in Manjimup. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred mental health services that support individuals on their recovery journey while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, undertake comprehensive assessments, coordinate care, and work closely with clients, GPs, and community services to achieve positive outcomes

Key Components of the Role

Reporting to the Mental Health Clinical Manager, you will:

• Manage a caseload of clients experiencing mental health challenges in the Manjimup area.
• Provide structured, short-term, psychological interventions and therapies for individuals with mental health conditions.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through face-to-face and telehealth appointments.
• Undertake risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
• Coordinate referrals and connect clients with relevant support services.
• Liaise with GPs and external stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to reporting requirements.
• Participate in clinical reviews, quality improvement activities, and service evaluation processes.

What you bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience delivering evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
• Sound knowledge of mental health legislation, ethical practice, and clinical record keeping.
• A commitment to providing person-centred, recovery-focused care.

Essential Requirements:

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Social Worker
• Occupational Therapist
• Provisionally Registered Psychologist
• Registered Nurse

You will also require:

• Current registration with the relevant professional body.
• Current WA Driver’s License.
• National Police Clearance.
• Ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment
