Experienced Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist for a Mental Health Care practice on the Gold Coast. This is a casual position for 15 hours a week Monday to Friday. This may develop into a long term permanent role. You will be required also to fill in for sick and annual leave. Extra hours will be required in October and November.

Role description:

We are a diverse mental health care practice that holds the patient at the centre of our care.

You will be required to carry out general administration duties, billing, some medical typing, answer the phones, reply to emails, greet patients, provide customer service, make appointments, open and close of the practice, as well as other Ad-Hoc duties. An understanding of Mental Health Care plans would be an advantage.

Selection Criteria

• Previous experience in Medical administration or reception would be an advantage.

• Minimum of 1 year of administration or reception experience required.

• Must have professional presentation and phone manner.

• Exceptional time management and organisation skills.

• Experience in MS Office.

• Must be experienced with Word and Outlook programs.

• Excel an advantage.

• Have the ability to work autonomously.

• A clear understanding of, and success in, the multi-tasking requirements of private practice reception. Will train the right person.

• Flexibility to cover leave
