Maintenance Electrician - Alexandria

Join a leading global manufacturer, currently working toward growing their already established Permanent workforce within the Maintenance Team. 

This is a Day or Afternoon Shift position for a Trade Qualified Electrician who has experience OR is seeking the opportunity to gain experience in a Manufacturing setting. 

As a Maintenance Electrician you will be required to work within the maintenance team, servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining the manufacturing plant equipment. Day Shift and Afternoon Shift + overtime + weekend work available.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your duties will include:-

• Provide Electrical scheduled preventative maintenance
• Attend to breakdowns as they occur 
• Provide a range of electrical services to factory plant and equipment
• Test, inspect and diagnose plant and equipment faults.

About You

• Australian Electrical Trade qualification is a MUST
• Have strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be able to follow instructions
• Manufacturing and FMCG Industry experience is highly regarded 
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident with Full Work Rights
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug / alcohol screening

Role Details

• $50 to 55/hour depending on experience 
• Based in Alexandria
