TMA Operators - Traffic Management

LGC Traffic Management is seeking qualified and experienced Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) Operators for an immediate start. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong safety focus and a “can-do” attitude, looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) to ensure the safety of work crews and the public

• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment

• Set up worksites with signage and equipment as specified in Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs)

• Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios

• Accurately follow instructions from the Operations Manager, On-Site Foreman, Inspectors, and Auditors

• Complete and submit required documentation including Daily Diaries, SWMS documents, dockets, and Pre-Start Checks

• Perform all tasks associated with TMA operation and traffic management control for metro and regional job sites

• Conduct site hazard assessments and check for suitability of control measures

• Report any on-site hazards and near misses promptly

• Use the Traffic Management Scheduling system (Traffio) for submitting forms and dockets

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current TMA Operator accreditation

• Current Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) & Traffic Control (TC) accreditation

• Valid WA Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s License

• Valid White Card

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to help out where able

• Previous experience driving and operating a TMA is highly regarded

• Additional qualifications such as a current First Aid Certificate or mechanical aptitude are highly regarded

• Any current inductions (e.g., Water Corporation, Western Power) are highly regarded
