About the role
Position Overview
This role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time, to a high standard, and in compliance with industry codes of practice and Aged Care and Seniors Living Standards.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the preventative maintenance program, ensuring buildings, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry codes and Aged Care Standards.
Coordinate deliveries and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
Manage certain inventory and track stock levels.
Perform a variety of handyman tasks, including minor repairs, furniture fixes, and replacements.
Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs.
Request and coordinate external trade work, including obtaining quotes and overseeing approved jobs.
Collaborate with other members of the Maintenance Team other departments and provide updates to the Executive Manager on repairs, inventory, and job status.
About You
Experience working in aged care / seniors living desirable
Demonstrated experience in handyman/trade/maintenance work
Awareness of regulations and the importance of compliance
Trade certificate or equivalent desirable
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Must have current police check, covid and flu vaccine and 100 points of ID
