Formwork Carpenter

Salary: $60,001 - $80,000

MNG Contractors Pty Ltd The role involves constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork for concrete structures, interpreting construction drawings, setting out and aligning formwork to safety standards, using tools and materials efficiently, and ensuring all work complies with WHS requirements, building codes, and company procedures across various construction sites. Work locations may vary depending on project requirements, and the role may involve working across different construction sites as directed by the employer.

Benefits Career development Task & responsibilities Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications Installing, and dismantling formwork for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs Analyze specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and   installation procedures Setting out, aligning, bracing, and levelling formwork to meet engineering and safety standards Assemble wood components to create structures and fixtures Safely stripping formwork while maintaining the integrity of completed concrete structures Installing temporary supports, structures, and safety barriers as required Work with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Qualification & experience At least 1 year of experience as a Formwork Carpenter or in a similar construction role Certificate III in Carpentry or a related trade (preferred but not essential) Sound knowledge of timber, conventional, or modular formwork systems Ability to read and follow construction drawings and instructions Competency in the use of carpentry tools and construction equipment Valid White Card (mandatory) Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-focused attitude   About Company MNG CONTRACTORS Pty Ltd is a highly skilled residential construction company, specializing in architecturally designed, custom-built homes.
