Based in Geraldton or FIFO

Rate: $60.00 per hour

GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sheetmetal Worker to join our growing team, either based in Geraldton or FIFO.

This role offers a variety of work, including site-based projects throughout the Geraldton region and fabrication work in our Geraldton workshop.

About The Role

You will be responsible for:

Fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products.Installing and working with EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulated panel systems.Working on commercial and industrial site projects throughout the Geraldton area.Completing workshop fabrication to a high standard.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plans.Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Skills And Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator.Demonstrated experience installing and working with EPS insulated panel systems (essential).Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.TIG and MIG welding experience.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively within a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Requirements

Trade Certificate – with roofing and cladding experience Construction Industry White CardDrivers Licence (C Class)Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months)Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing
