Site Manager

Pyramid Constructions (WA) Pty Ltd are offering an excellent opportunity to progress your career working on various commercial projects across different sectors.

Reporting to the Project Manager, as a Site Manager your duties & responsibilities will include (but no limited to):

• Daily co-ordination and management of site activities

• Forward planning of trade activities and assisting trades

• Co-ordination of documents

• Quality and environmental compliance

• Chairing subcontractors meetings and other meetings

• Proactive to resolving construction and documentation issues

• Checking documentation and shop drawings for accuracy

• Handling of site health and safety, industrial issues

• Knowledge of current relevant work practices and standards

• Working knowledge of building industry contracts

• Liaising with consultants and client and client representatives

• Dealing with government and utilities officers

You must possess the following competencies:

• Successful track record in the delivery of various building projects $5m+

• Strong leadership and motivator of trade teams, non-adversarial approach

• Good communication, interpersonal and self management skills

• Ability to work autonomously with focus on time, budget, safety and quality

• Work under pressure and utilise a high level of initiative

• Sound knowledge of construction methods and building processes

• Effective decision making

• Comprehension of building costs

• Working knowledge of building services

• Ability to tackle issues methodically, practically and thoroughly

• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles
