Reporting to the Quarry Transport Manager, the Heavy Haulage Float Driver will be required to travel locally and interstate, operating modern, well maintained vehicles, supported by our onsite mechanical workshop. The role involves loading, unloading and restraining heavy earthmoving and mining equipment and may occasionally require overnight travel and work away from home.

 Essential Criteria:

• Competent and experienced in float operation

• Experienced in swing wide float operation

• Experienced in low loader dolly operation

• A current NSW class MC drivers licence

• Willing to travel to remote locations and work away from home, including overnight stays as required

• General plant operation experience

• Sound mechanical knowledge

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have flexibility around working hours, and a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental care.  A Service NSW driving history check and a medical examination will be required as part of the pre-employment process.
