About The Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

The function of this position is to provide assistance to Nursing, Midwifery and other health service workers in delivering effective patient care. This is a support role with a scope of duties that encompasses, but is not limited by, tidying, cleaning and duties associated with direct patient care.

Ideal Candidate

Ability to work as part of a team and maintain safe work practice, adhering to WHS policies and procedures.Demonstrated recent experience working in the hospital setting.Awareness of Infection Control principles and Manual Handling principles.
