The role

TRS Sheet Metal Fabrication is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator/Metal Fabricator to join our team in Arundel, Qld. This is a full-time position, offering a highly competitive remuneration package. You will be working for an extremely successful, rapidly growing company.

Day to day duties/tasks will include:

• Read and interpret engineering/ shop drawings and diagrams

• Operate various metalworking machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and welding equipment TIG & MIG is a must. 

• We do work with Stainless steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel (and on the odd occasion brass)  

• Collaborate with the production team to continuously improve efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications/ Experience required:

• Prior experience as a metal fabricator, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret engineering/ shop drawings and specification

• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
