Head of Retail Partnerships, ANZ

DoorDash is looking for an exceptional people leader to help shape the next phase of our Retail business across Australia and New Zealand. The Retail Account Management team partners with retailers across ANZ to drive shared growth and deliver outstanding experiences for merchants, consumers, and Dashers.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a critical function in a high-growth, fast-paced environment—shaping how DoorDash expands beyond restaurants to become the destination for local commerce across ANZ.

DoorDash is seeking a Head of Retail Account Management, ANZ to lead our Retail Account Management organisation across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Revenue and Commercial, you will lead and develop a team while owning the strategy, growth, and performance of a large and diverse portfolio of retail partnerships.

You will set the vision for the portfolio, establish clear priorities, and translate strategy into disciplined execution. You will build trusted relationships with senior executives, identify opportunities for mutual growth, and ensure DoorDash consistently delivers a best-in-class partnership experience.

As a senior leader, you will also help shape the broader ANZ business, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Strategy to solve complex challenges and unlock sustainable growth.

• Build strong, trusted relationships with retail partners and support their long-term success on DoorDash.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen our partnerships and grow the Retail business sustainably.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop team members, creating clarity, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver strong outcomes for our partners, customers, and business.
• Represent the needs of our retail partners and contribute to the broader direction of DoorDash’s ANZ business.

• You bring 12+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, commercial leadership, client success, or a related field, along with a strong track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• You have led a significant account management, partnerships, commercial, client success, or related function.
• You have strong commercial judgement and experience delivering sustainable business growth.
• You are an exceptional relationship builder who can engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
• You work effectively across functions and are comfortable navigating complexity and change.
• You bring an ownership mindset, sound judgement, and a strong bias for action.
• You communicate with clarity and can bring people together around shared priorities.
• You care deeply about team culture and create an environment where people can perform, develop, and do their best work.

Experience in retail, grocery, e-commerce, marketplaces, or technology-enabled businesses would be advantageous, as would experience working across Australia and New Zealand.
