About the role
Ekidna Enterprises are seeking experienced HME and Field Diesel Fitters for ongoing work at QLD open-cut coal mines in the Bowen basin.
Opportunities are available on a 7/7 roster and ad-hoc shutdowns and service days, suited to fitters with strong HME and Field equipment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Field maintenance and breakdown support
Scheduled servicing and inspections
Diagnostics, fault finding and component change-outs
Working safely within mine site procedures
Equipment Experience (Required)
Rope shovels
Draglines
Heavy Mobile Equipment (trucks, dozers, graders, loaders)
Hydraulic excavators
Light vehicles and ancillary fleet
About You
Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Proven mining maintenance experience
Comfortable working autonomously in the field
Strong safety and compliance focus
Current Australian work rights
