Operations Coordinator

Outdoor Living Direct is a evolving business passionate about helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces. We’re looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Operations Coordinator to become an integral part of our Operations team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations, you’ll coordinate everything from customer orders and warranty claims through to inventory, logistics, marketplaces and supplier communication. This is a varied role that offers plenty of opportunity to learn, take ownership and contribute to improving the way we operate.

What you’ll be doing

Customer Experience & After Sales

• Manage warranty claims from enquiry through to resolution.

• Provide outstanding customer service via email 

• Resolve customer enquiries professionally while achieving the best outcome for both the customer and the business.

• The position is a 28 hours a week Monday to Thursday with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Operations & Logistics

• Monitor outstanding orders and proactively resolve delays.

• Liaise daily with warehouses, freight providers, suppliers and internal teams.

• Coordinate freight bookings and deliveries.

• Process stock transfers and inventory adjustments.

• Support purchasing and supplier communications.

Inventory & Systems

• Maintain accurate inventory across business systems.

• Assist with operational reporting and data accuracy.

• Support continual improvement of operational processes and documentation. 

Marketplace & eCommerce

• Monitor stock availability and inventory accuracy across multiple sales channels.

• Coordinate marketplace order fulfilment.

• Work with internal teams to ensure product information remains accurate and up to date.

Business Support

• Provide day-to-day support to the General Manager of Operations.

• Assist with operational projects as the business grows.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency.

• Build strong relationships across all departments.

About You

Ideally you’ll have:

• Experience in an operations, administration, customer service or logistics role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• The ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive approach to problem solving.

• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and business systems.

• Experience with Retail Express or similar ERP/POS systems (highly regarded).

• Experience with Shopify or Mirakl platforms (highly regarded)

• Experience within retail, furniture, logistics or eCommerce (desirable but not essential).
